A fuerza de excelentes melodías, impecables arreglos y letras inteligentes mixturados con una fresca psicodélia pop y la absorción de la mejor tradición de la música popular, léase Kinks, Beatles y Beach Boys, este trio ingles grabó en 1986 uno de los mejores álbumes de la década: "Skylarking". 14 perlas construidas con talento, buen gusto y brillantez. Andy Partridge, Collin Moulding y Dave Gregory junto a Todd Rungren en la producción confluyeron en esta verdadera maravilla. Entre otras joyas del grupo (en realidad, el duo Partridge / Moulding) les puedo recomendar “Oranges and Lemons” y “Nonsuch”.
